CBS Show “The Guardian” Draws on Joe Tacopina’s Courtroom Charm

According to the New York Post, the lead character in The Guardian, which ran on CBS for four seasons from 2001 to 2004, was inspired by Joe Tacopina. “Script writers for CBS’s legal drama The Guardian confess they used Tacopina’s courtroom charms as the model for their slick lawyer.” Episodes of the show are available on CBS On Demand and Amazon Prime Video.
